Professor of Middle East History at Stanford University, Joel Beinin, talks about the history of labor organizing and struggle in Egypt, Tunisia and other countries of the Middle East, and the role labor organizations are playing in the revolutionary events and process known as the Arab Spring. Joel Beinin spoke at the conference, THE ARAB SPRING: A YEAR THAT CHANGED THE WORLD, held at Portland State University on February 25, 2012.
